Patrick Sullivan - Baw Baw Shire Chardonnay - 2021

Twenty year old vines of I10v1 clone chardonnay, one that usually produces fuller flavoured chardonnay, but here grown on a south facing site. Crackles along with freshness and energy, lemon-lime, green apple, oatmeal and light, saline characters. Beautiful texture, supple and yet clean and crisp at the same time. Has this mouth-watering freshness and yet quiet richness, and structure is a word to be thrown into the mix here.
