The Diebolt family has deep roots in champagne production, tracing back to the early 19th century. Jacques Diebolt assumed leadership in 1959, with his marriage to Nadia Vallois enriching the estate with both a second name and additional vineyards. With the older generation largely passing the reins to their children, Arnaud and Isabelle, the Diebolt family remains devoted to expressing the true essence of grower Champagne.
The wines of the estate tend to be very expressive of their terroir with a great purity of flavour, a raciness and an ability to age well, so it is no wonder that the house is among the most respected in the Côte des Blancs. Considering the location of some of the most magnificent vineyards in Cramant, it's also important to mention that the wines also offer excellent value.
Why do we like it?
Sleek, pure and racy, Diebolt’s wines are classical expressions of the northern Côte des Blancs. They are capable of intense complexity and great longevity, and the Fleur de Passion is consistently among the top examples of Cramant
This non-vintage Champagne radiates elegance and finesse. Crafted exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, it shows purity and vibrancy. Lots of delicate floral and citrus notes on the nose followed by crisp green apples, fresh lemon, and a subtle minerality on the palate. It showcases a harmonious blend of freshness and complexity. It's a true testament to Diebolt-Vallois' commitment to crafting exceptional Champagne.
