GW: Lots of mixed berries, creamy and ripe, some spice, a bit ferrous and savoury. Medium-bodied, quite earthy, red and black fruit, creamy chew to tannin, plenty of berry fruit and a finish of good length. Chalk dust finish. It’s fleshed out and become more succulent and generous after being open for a day, and I can see the makings are very good here. KS: Dark and stormy, spicy. Dark fruit and a touch of blue fruit and dried blood, cherry blossom and liquorice top note, some sage. It’s salty with graphite-like finish, long and lasting, feels bold and a bit creamy with oak but I like the rock salt finish and a smoky touch. Characterful. 94+ Points Gary Walsh & Kaisa Sobiesiak, The Wine Front
