Sweet spot, Outstanding. Moderate wood combines with cool aromas spice, violet, lilac, red currant and just enough sauvage character to be interesting. The exceptionally rich and generously proportioned flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract on the solidly powerful yet suave bitter pit fruit-inflected finish. This is an atypical 2021 as it is more like a 2020 on the palate though without the higher ripeness levels. Excellent development potential here. 92-94 Points Allen Meadows, Burghound
