Joshua Cooper Wines - Dash Farms Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon - 2021

Dash Farms with cabernet that darts around a bit. Or next to Dot Farms. Oh my. Regal cabernet of flesh and tension, taut ripples of silty tannin holding in a deep bruise of mixed black and blueberry fruit character, faint vanilla and cinnamon spice, a mellow choc-liqourice character and lavender water and finishes cool with amaro-like licks. It’s fragrant too, dark fruited, spicy, alpine herb lifted and generally very, very appealing to sniff on. Lots of detail. This one has guts but control, a serious, modern-feeling, sweeter-hearted cab sav. Lovely stuff. 94 Points - Mike Bennie, winefront.com.au
