Jack Daniel’s 1914 London England Gold Medal – 750ml (Released in 2001)
Even as Prohibition began sweeping across the United States, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey continued to earn international recognition. In 1914, Lem Motlow, Jack Daniel’s nephew, brought a batch of whiskey to London for the Anglo-American Exposition. Though the Jack Daniel Distillery had stopped producing whiskey, Lem shipped what he had on hand across the ocean, where Tennessee’s whiskey once again claimed top honors. This 750ml bottle, released in 2001, is the fourth in the Gold Medal series.
From 1996 to 2006, the Jack Daniel Distillery unveiled its Gold Medal Series, a collection of seven uniquely designed bottles celebrating each of the distillery’s gold medal wins. In the U.S., the series featured 750ml bottles filled with 90 proof whiskey, while international markets offered the bottles in a 1-liter size, except for the first in the series, which was only available in 750ml.
All bottles have been stored in their original 6 x 750ml delivery case and are in mint condition
Bottles are available to be registered on jackdaniels.com and a certificate of ownership will be forwarded by Jack Daniel’s.
