JACK DANIEL’S TENNESSEE WHISKEY: THE FINEST WHISKEY IN THE WORLD
Jack Daniel’s 1904 St Luis World’s Fair Gold Medal – 750ml (Released in 1996)
In 1904, Jack Daniel, encouraged by family and friends, brought his whiskey to the World’s Fair in St. Louis, Missouri. Despite doubts from larger distillers, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey was named the finest in the world, earning the prestigious Gold Medal. To celebrate this achievement, the distillery released a special 750ml bottle in 1996, kicking off a series commemorating each Gold Medal won by Jack Daniel’s.
Between 1996 and 2006, the Jack Daniel Distillery unveiled the Gold Medal Series, a collection of seven uniquely designed bottles, each highlighting a different gold medal awarded to the brand. In the United States, the series was presented in 750ml bottles filled with 90 proof whiskey, while international markets received the bottles in a 1-liter size. The only exception was the first bottle in the series, which was released exclusively in a 750ml size globally.
Bottles are available to be registered on jackdaniels.com and a certificate of ownership will be forwarded by Jack Daniel’s.
