Gunther Steinmetz - Pinot Noir Kestener Herrenberg - 2019

The 2019er Herrenberg Pinot Noir, as it is referred to on the consumer label, was made from fruit destemmed to 50% and was fermented in used barrique for 24 months before being bottled unfiltered. This dark-red colored wine offers a superb nose made of succulent stewed raspberry and strawberry, wrapped into fresh herbs and Asian spices. The wine proves beautifully playful and silky on the palate and leaves a superb feel of red berried fruits and fine spices int eh finish.
