Domaine Ostertag Clos Mathis Riesling 2021 A stunning wine from one of the best plots in the family's holdings. It has perfect balance and beautiful intensity of fruit with a silky, mineral and tangy structure. I recently tasted a mature example of the wine which is what inspired me to revisit the range. Domaine Ostertag 75 plots in five villages and a total of 12 hectares is what the family have to work with. 100% certified biodynamic since 1998, all vineyard work is done by hand. They just want to make great wines in the vineyard. Very little is added to the wines in the winery and little to no filtration is done.
