A more deeply pitched nose freely expresses its array of sandalwood, dark currant, spiced plum and exotic jasmine tea, all of which is trimmed in discreet wood influence. The rich, concentrated and generously proportioned flavors possess a highly seductive texture while displaying fine depth and persistence on the balanced finale where the supporting tannins make their presence known. 91-94 Points Outstanding Allen Meadows, Burghound Pretty light to medium purple. Not too extrovert by any means but there is plenty of fruit nonetheless with an admirable purity. An impressive density in the middle, this does not dip down as many Suchots do, but then Pascal has some of the best placed vines. Much more arrives after spitting, this is exceptionally persistent and the fruit is all over any pepper or tannin.
