Domaine Georges Noellat - Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru 'Les Petit Monts' - 2018

Once again there is this curious if highly attractive character of cool ripeness to the pure aromas of cassis, baked plum, spice and an appealing array of floral nuances and in particular violet. There is outstanding energy, and especially so for the 2018 vintage, to the refined and transparent medium weight flavors that flash a lovely salinity on the linear and wonderfully long finale. This isn't quite as complex as the Boudots though it may well equal it in time. 90-93 Points - Outstanding Burghound.com
