Domaine Genot-Boulanger - Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru - 2019

The 2019 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru comes from the Les Baudes Bas lieu-dit, enclosed within the Louis Jadot parcel where the soils are particularly clayey. It has a very aromatic and floral bouquet featuring bunches of red roses and peony. Wonderful delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins. This is very smooth and silky. Not a deep Clos Vougeot, nor is there a tremendous amount of grip, yet it feels long and tender on the finish, which lingers in the mouth. Superb 93-95 Points - Neal Martin, Vinous.com
