Dexter Wines - Chardonnay - 2022

It’s a tightly wound chardonnay with stacks of greener spectrum stone fruit characters, not green green but peaches and nectarines when they’re still really firm. A touch of grapefruit in the mix, a wash of crushed rock minerals, faint nougat and cashew with some of that wet fern character in there too, if ya get my drift. It’s flavoursome but racy, skittish even, skids across the palate with ultra-refreshing vibes and trails away all minerally and long. It’s really good. 95 Points Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
