This is a cracking bottle of Pinot Noir. I just noticed that this wine (and the chardonnay) is, at least direct, already sold out. It tastes and feels Upper Yarra but it’s beautifully pitched and it pushes ever-so-confidently through the finish. There’s a clear lightness to this wine but it’s by no means a passing interest. Red cherries, twigs, spices, florals and cranberries, all juicy and woody and savoury and ripe, at once. Reduction has, I would argue, been played to positive effect here, though I do have a liking of reductive inputs. As I say to my kids, I was raised reductively, sans air to the creative side of life. There’s a tension to this wine, an inherent complexity. This is a wine I’d be happy to drink anywhere, any time, all the time. 95 Points Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
