Such a powerful and evocative scent, Parisian almond, sandalwood, ripe apple. Lovely stuff. No wallflower, it tastes full and generous, chardonnay amplified and athletic with ripe fruit, lashings of spice, a cool, clean and bright finish and more of the spice lingering. It coats the palate gently like some great chardonnays do. Despite the maxing out of scent and flavour there’s also restraint, crisp edges, tension and control. Oh man.
