By Farr Viognier is, among other things, sealed with a DIAM 30. It’s routinely an outstanding example of the viognier grape. It smells fresh, a bit steely, of concrete even, or of concrete as a holding vessel of custard. It’s a ruse; the palate turns things up a few notches from the outset, with powerful swings of fennel, cooked apple, pear, riverstones and stonefruit, the latter fresh, dry and ripe at once. This wine has already found its feet but is only just starting its run; it won’t hit peak drinking speed for a couple of years at least. But the way it combines both reticence and outrageous power is already quite something. Episodes of cashew, cream, jasmine and honeysuckle aren’t really part of the main drama but they contribute. 94+ Points Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
