Firm, focused, tight and astringent, this typical, traditional long-term Wendouree shiraz cloaks its deeply layered but tight-fisted expression of black and red berries,plums and cherries in a firm, drying grip of astringent tannins. There's an ethereal quality about its restrained but complex perfume, which reveals nuances of cloves, white pepper and a hint of leather.
