Lovely fresh mid purple, with a bouquet that has some clear fresh white pepper freshening up the red fruit which is far from over-ripe. The 2020 Leroux Volnay Caillerets displays great balance here. Floral, fresh red fruits a little cherry, savoury character from the stems, very long indeed. Very beautiful.
