Antoniotti Odilio - Bramaterra DOC - 2017

Youthful crimson ruby. Great depth of marasca cherry on the nose with savoury-minerally hints. Recognisably Nebbiolo but really distinct from Barolo or Barbaresco. More of an alpine character combined with the concentration of the very warm and dry 2017 vintage. Just a hint of herbs and then concentrated cherry fruit with marzipan-like tannins adding great grip to the finish. Can be approached now but ideally should get more time in the bottle.
