The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis Faconnières 1er Cru has a taut and slightly flinty bouquet. This is well-defined and focused, touches of clove and sous-bois emerging with time. The palate is medium bodied with fine-grain tannins, good acidity with a touch more density on the finish compared to the Aux Charmes.
