The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Maltroie 1er Cru has a lovely bouquet with lilting aromas of Clementine, white tea and subtle crushed oyster shell that gain momentum in the glass. The palate is taut and fresh with lip-smacking salinity. There is real power here; it is very intense with an animated, rocky, almost uncompromising finish that feels extremely long. Another outstanding Chassagne from Moreau.
