Hubert Lignier - Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru 'La Riotte' - 2021

A high-toned and exceptionally pretty nose combines notes of essence of red cherry, spice and cool just turned earth. The refined, sleek and delineated flavors possess a polished mouthfeel along with very good richness, all wrapped in a lingering and balanced finale. I very much like the sophisticated mouthfeel and though this lovely effort could use better depth, more should reasonably develop if given time. 90-93 Points, Outstanding Allen Meadows, Burghound
