Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair - Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru 'Aux Reignots' - 2015

The 2015 Vosne-Romanée Aux Reignots 1er Cru is showing a lot of new oak on the nose, although there appears to be sufficient fruit underneath to subsume that with time. The palate has a sorbet-like freshness on the entry, plenty of energy and tension interwoven from beginning to end, and hints of marmalade and blood orange that enliven the finish.
