Patrick Piuze - Chablis 'La Butte O' - 2020

The 2020 Chablis La Butte “O” is the debut release from the parcel previously farmed by Piuze's former boss Jean-Marie Guffens (Domaine Verget). The lieu-dit is actually Butteaux, but Village, not Premier Cru. This has a fine, lively citrus peel and lime bouquet that springs from the glass. The palate is well balanced with fine poise, delivering more lime and citrus peel, but it needs a little more matière to develop on the finish. Fine. 88-90 Points Neal Martin, vinous.com
