Joh Jos Prum - Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Spatlese - 2022

The 2022 Riesling Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Spätlese is shy, but stone fruit shimmers through; think white peach and golden Mirabelle. The palate falls into step with citrus-edged, golden Mirabelle plums, fresh, almost sorbet-like in their heightened impression. The beauty here lies in restraint and absolutely harmonious balance. This is not much sweeter than a Kabinett, just a little fuller, rounder, but still svelte, elegant, full in flavor, light on its feet and medium sweet only.
