Simon Colin - Santenay Rouge - 2021

An exuberantly fresh nose speaks of earth and pepper-inflected red berry fruit. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension suffusing the nicely detailed middleweight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the mildly austere, focused and inviting finale that is firm enough to repay a few years of keeping.
