Jacques-Frederic Mugnier - Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru - 2021

A wonderfully fresh and appealingly layered nose offers up interesting aromas of blue berry, crushed fennel, earth and a hint of violet. There is excellent richness, and particularly so for the vintage, to the bigger-bodied and noticeably more powerful if less mineral-driven flavors that coat the palate on the youthfully austere, firm and impressively long finale.
