This is even more reserved and requires extended swirling to gradually coax the even spicier aromas of red currant, black raspberry, discreet wood toast and a floral top note. There is superb mid-palate density to the equally sized and powerful flavors that brim with dry extract as well as an abundance of minerality on the massively long finish where a touch of warmth slowly emerges. This isn't quite as structured, but it is still a wine that should reward between two and three decades of cellaring.
