Ochota Barrels Fugazi Grenache

This is often my most treasured of the Ochota releases. The fruit is incredibly well defined; it carries amaro skeins loosely sewn into a juicy palate of strawberry, kirsch and cranberry, but the pièce de résistance for me is always the remarkably well-judged tannins. Feathery and detailed. A brilliant harness for expansive fruit. In terms of mood, this is fitting for Friday night or the main event; choose your own adventure.Katrina ButlerPublished 24 February 2026
