Domaine Bruno Clair - Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru 'La Dominode' Rouge - 2022

The 2022 Savigny-lès-Beaune La Dominode 1er Cru was taken directly from demi-muids, though it is raised in regular barrels, too. The nose has wonderful delineation and purity: redcurrant and wild strawberry fruit, elegant and poised with judicious oak use. The palate is medium-bodied with fine structure and grip. The 20% whole bunches is less than others due to the natural pH, a wise decision as the finish maintains tension. A gem. 92-94 Points Neal Martin, Vinous.com
