2015 Evoi 'The Satyr' Reserve, Cabernet blend, Margaret River

The man behind the project is Nigel Ludlow, a New Zealander who has a graduate diploma in oenology and viticulture from Lincoln University. After working for Selaks, Nigel became what we call a flying winemaker, working around the world in countries such as Hungary, Spain and South Africa before settling in Australia, working in Victoria and then moving to Margaret River. Nigel started Evoi with almost nothing, or should we say with two barrels of Chardonnay made at his home in Margaret River in 2007. Fast forward and Nigel now make some exemplary wines from Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon blend. Everything is possible, if you have a dream, simply follow it!Why do we like it?
