Buller Rutherglen Balladeer Durif 2019

Dense inky black colour with a very deep bright dark red black hue. On the nose fresh morello cherry aromas combine with liquorice and black plum over vanillin oak and spice. Full in body, spicy morello and black cherry fruits intermingle with liquorice, toasty vanillin oak and subtle earth. Youthful bright acidity and well integrated yet robust tannins. Good drive concluding with medium length. This wine has matured for 12 months in American oak hogsheads.
