“Picked at 105° Oechsle in the lower part of the cru and with 5% to 10% botrytis grapes, the 2022 Erdener Prälat Riesling Auslese Alte Reben offers a very clear, intense and slightly iodine-inflected nose with flinty notes of crushed lemons and gray-red slate. On the palate, this is a lush and generous, crystalline and savory, saline and mouth-watering Prälat with intense fruit and nice phenolic grip on the finish. It's pretty light for a Prälat. Only 650 liters produced. There are 50 liters of a Prälat Beerenauslese as well. 7.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2023.” 96 Points Stephan Reinhardt, The Wine Advocate
