Jasper Hill - Emily's Paddock Shiraz Cabernet Franc - 2019

Emily's is traditionally more reserved, and the '19, in particular, benefits from a decant and a splash of air. There is unaccustomed power in this vintage, courtesy of high alcohol, so some of the subtlety of the wine is lost, replaced by a more upfront, bold personality.
