2022 Bondar ‘Rayner’ Grenache, McLaren Vale

Andre Bondar and Selina Kelly’s were finalists for the Young Gun of Wine in 2022. Their wines are captivating and straight delicious. The Rayner Vineyard is nestled amidst the rolling hills and sundrenched valleys of McLaren Vale. This 14-hectare vineyard was bought by Andre and Selina in 2014. With a meticulous approach to viticulture and sustainable practices, they allow the 50 old vines of Grenache to best express themselves. It’s everything we like when it comes to the vineyard work: hand-picked, unirrigated with small yields. Why do we like it?
