2018 Wantirna Amelia Cabernet Merlot

Wantirna Estate is a high quality wine producer practically right in the city of Melbourne. The vines were planted in 1963 and this date marks the beginning of a golden era in the Yarra Valley, as a few other wineries also opened their doors and started making world class wines. Wantirna Estate was founded by Reg Egan and Bertina Curcio. Today, the estate is run by their daughters and possibly soon by their grand-daughters Amelia, Lily, Hannah and Isabella. Have you seen these names on their labels?   Why do we like it?
