Rare, single-vintage Bas-Armagnac from Château de Laubade, distilled in 1985 and aged on the estate.- Deep amber with copper highlights; nose offers dried fruits, vanilla, toffee, and light spice.- Palate is full-bodied and smooth, with prune, fig, almond, orange peel, and cocoa; oak and spice are well integrated.- Finish is long and warm, with leather, tobacco, and dark chocolate notes.- Best enjoyed neat in a tulip glass at 16-20°C; pairs well with dark chocolate or aged cheeses.Tasting notes- Nose: prune, fig, date; orange zest; vanilla, toffee; subtle oak.- Palate: full-bodied, velvety; prune, fig, cocoa, almond; orange peel; nutmeg, cinnamon.- Finish: long, warm; leather, tobacco, cocoa; lingering spice.
