Yangarra adheres to a philosophy centered around crafting wines that authentically capture the essence of their single-vineyard estate. The property spans 170 hectares, with nearly 90 hectares dedicated to vineyards while the remaining 80 hectares are preserved for native flora and fauna, fostering a harmonious relationship between the vines and their natural surroundings. Situated amidst rare geologies, moderate altitude, ample sunshine, and refreshing evening breezes. The estate provides an ideal setting for cultivating grape varieties suited to Mediterranean climates. Embracing the best grapes of the southern Rhone. Through a commitment to biodynamic regenerative farming and meticulous winemaking practices, they honour the unique character of the land, ensuring that each bottle of Yangarra Estate wine resonates with the spirit of this extraordinary terroir.
Why do we like it?
This Grenache is fresh, red fruited, with perfumed red roses, soft and silky tannins, allowing for a beautiful combination of different foods. You can serve this slightly chilled at about 15 degrees to minimise alcohol impression, in large Pinot Noir glasses it's best and it is ready to drink now.
