2020 Mount Mary Chardonnay, Yarra Valley

Mount Mary was founded by John and Marli Middleton in 1971. It is still a family owned, single vineyard estate located in the heart of the Yarra Valley and is now run by their son, Sam Middleton. Mount Mary just make great wines.  From their Pinot Noir, which is incredibly perfumed, to their Cabernet blends that have plenty richness and depth.  From their Chardonnay to the Sauvignon Blanc blends, every single bottle is worth a buy.  Why do we like it? We love it because Mount Mary makes fine, elegant, world class wines. It is never disappointing to open a bottle from any vintage and share it with good company. The first time we tried Mount Mary wines was in London, at Dinner By Heston Blumenthal. It was matched with a slow-cooked Cotswold white chicken with char grilled lettuce, so good!
