2019 Wren Estate Marsanne Heathcote

Wren Estate is a new project in Heathcote by Michael Wren himself.  Michael has spent over 15 years in the wine industry.  From his time being a "flying winemaker" across the globe, he most loved Portugal and the Alentejo, where he worked with Esporao, one of the oldest wine estates in the country.  Today he produces delicious Syrah and Marsanne wines on his own property. (A "flying winemaker" is a winemaker with great knowledge and expertise that shares their knowledge with wineries across the globe.  Often staying at a winery for a single vintage before moving on.)   Why do we like it? To start with, we love Michael Wren, he is a gentleman. If you are ever wanting to go to Heathcote, make sure you visit Wren Estate. His passion for wine is very well reflected in this pure Marsanne wine.
