2022 Mauro Marengo, Nascetta, Langhe, Piemonte, Italy

Nascetta is a local grape from Piemonte which was rescued by local producers. Only about 15 producers are making wine from this semi-aromatic grape nowadays. We tasted it for the very first time only recently and couldn’t wait to share it with you! It is made by Mauro Marengo, a small winery located in the historic centre of the town of Novello, home to historic wineries and prestigious producers. Mauro is the owner and has surrounded himself with his family, his daughter Daniele, has been given the winemaking part and is doing very well!Why do we like it?
