2019 Yeringberg, Marsanne/Roussanne, Yarra Valley

The Pury family grew up right next to this 19th century winery (out-of-operation) in the Coldstream area of the Yarra Valley.  Production had ceased since 1921 due to the lack of interest in table wines. From the 1960’s a new movement of producers such as Yeringberg, Yarra Yering and Mount Mary would change the Yarra Valley wine scene forever. Sandra de Pury, daughter of Guill and Katherine, after studying and travelling is today making the wines at the estate, bringing a world of knowledge to the winery.Why do we like it?
