Domaine Armand Rousseau - Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru 'Les Cazetiers' - 2010

Strong reduction flattens the nose but there is excellent verve to the rich, intense and solidly powerful middle weight flavors that display really lovely detail and nuance on the firmly structured and moderately austere finish. I very much like the interplay of the fruit against the structural elements and this should amply reward at least a decade of cellaring.
