Jasper Hill - Georgia's Paddock Nebbiolo - 2022

Get out the decanter, because you are going to need it. This youngster is tight as a drum. Slowly, slowly it reveals nebbiolo's aromatics – rosehip, hibiscus, anise, red liquorice – alongside dark cherry and cedary notes. It's a high-alcohol wine at 15%, but the grape's noteworthy acidity and sturdy tannins are up to the challenge working in tune with the warm flow of red fruits, spice and captivating florals.
