The 2021 Erdener Treppchen Riesling Auslese is from the best parcels of the cru and based on 20% to 25% botrytis grapes. It's clear and pure but aromatic on the well-defined nose that indicates yellow plums and mirabelles along with some coolish forest herb notes. Round and refined on the palate, this is a highly elegant and balanced Auslese with concentrated fruit that is marked by crystalline, precise acidity.
