From vines planted in 78, fermented and matured for 18 months in new and used French oak, partial mlf. The power, intensity and depth of the wine comes from the low yield of these venerable vines. Ripe white nectarine/peach is offset by grapefruit pith and flinty acidity.'Black label. A complex and compelling chardonnay. At its heart is a mineral, beeswax and slatey core that lays the foundation for the wine, contributing an effortless, natural balance.
