Domaine Jean-Francois Ganevat - Cotes du Jura 'Cuvee Florine' Chardonnay - 2020

The still unbottled 2020 Florine is tasty, clean, expressive and with some richness from the ripe year. It was sourced from Chardonnay grapes from vines planted by Ganevat's father and named after Ganevat's daughter. This is always a little more herbal and fresher, despite the warm year. It's mineral and elegant, reflecting the gravel and marl soils. It feels fresher and less honeyed than the 2019 showed last year. 94-95 Points Luis Gutiérrez, The Wine Advocate
