From a 0.6-hectare vineyard in Château Chalon, youngish vines, ouillé so AOP Côtes du Jura, 12.5% alcohol - always a favourite of mine, this displays effortless terroir expression - geology, lemon juice and hints of earth, hazelnuts, juicy yet taught, seamless and silky, generous but precise, excellent flavour intensity, energetic but relaxed, lip-licking acidity, long and flowing finish.
