Penfolds RWT 2004 750ml

Penfolds RWT 2004 is a single-region Barossa Valley Shiraz, matured entirely in French oak. It's known for its opulent and fleshy style, offering a distinct counterpoint to the more muscular Grange. The 2004 vintage is considered a classic.   Tasting Note:Nose: Aromas of sweet dark fruits, particularly blueberry and plum, leap from the glass, accompanied by complex notes of spice and a suggestion of cedary oak.   Palate: The palate is at once opulent, juicy, and mouthwatering, showcasing a compote of red and blue berries, Satsuma plum, and cherry. Dark pepper spices appear on the back palate, with tannins enveloped by the fruit richness. The new French oak adds another dimension to the structural and flavor layers.
