The grapes come from the Rocche Rivera plot in the Scarrone cru, which is a continuation of the Rocche di Castiglione cru with Luigi Oddero's full-south-facing plot one of the best sites. Lustrous mid ruby. Perfumed, concentrated and focused cherry nose of great appeal with hints of iron and orange blossom. Great minerality underneath. Slow to open up and really intriguing.
